A New Chapter for Cask Music - Goodbye to Leslieville

Hey Everyone,

Important news: After an amazing 12 years in Leslieville, I've made the decision to shift gears and move the business fully online by the end of February. This will mean that our retail shop will be closed and we are leaving Leslieville.

I know this might come as a surprise, and I wanted you to hear it directly from me. Leslieville has been more than just a location - it's been home. Every instrument admired, every repair made, and every conversation shared has made these past 12 years incredibly special.

Here's what's happening right now:

  • I'll be wrapping things up at the shop before the end of February.

  • We will still be taking guitar repair orders in Leslieville until January 29 (except for amplifier/pedal electronics, which we’ve stopped taking as of now.)

  • All current repairs will absolutely be completed

  • Taking a short break to set everything up at a new location, then back at it from mid-March

If your gear is with us right now - don't worry! We’re not vanishing into thin air. The shop's still open for several weeks, and I'll make sure everything's taken care of before the move. This includes ongoing repairs, evaluations and consignment sales.

For those of you with gear on consignment, I'll be sending you an email with more details. 

This is the end of an era, but it isn't goodbye! It's just a change of scenery, and a very necessary next step for the business. I'm excited to keep serving our loyal customers and friends, just in a different way. Our website and social media will be undergoing some exciting maintenance and improvements to make things smoother for everybody.

I can't thank you enough for all the support over the years. You've made coming to work a joy, and I'm looking forward to continuing the story, just in a new format.
