Gibson B-25 1960s Used
Stunning! This is a mid 1960s Gibson B-25 natural, the 00/folk-sized model which succeeded the LG3 in the early 60s. Mahogany body (solid back, laminated sides), mahogany neck, solid spruce top, and rosewood fingerboard. Earlier models, including ours, featured the plastic bridge and ceramic adjustable saddle.
Our example has had only one owner! It is in amazing structural condition with a great neck angle, no top sink or humping, and a perfect neck shape. Bridge remains flush to body with saddle adjustment functioning well. Moderate-significant pitting on fingerboard in first 1-5 frets - pictured - which does not affect playability. Frets have been levelled and dressed to significantly reduce play wear and guitar is playing nicely with great action. Very attractive subtle lacquer checking throughout body of guitar, visible in the right light.
Includes non-original hardshell case, but includes original hang tag and other period correct accessories from original owner.
