Fender 1974-75 Telecaster Used

This one tells a story. We have a very cool 1970s Telecaster which has been chewed up and spat out, and lived to tell the tale. This is a '74 or, based on some expert input, very early 1975 Tele which was originally blonde finish, and has been stripped and refinished natural. In its history it has been the subject of, at some point, a bridge humbucker experiment with corresponding rout (mostly hidden by the bridge).

We've just given the instrument a refret and full setup. Original components are the body, neck, bridge pickup, tuning machines, bridge, neck plate, control plate. The neck is stamped by Xavier Armenta, one of a couple of final finish neck sanders at Fender in the early 70s.

The neck pickup is a contemporary Fender pickup. The wiring, pickguard, knobs and switch have also been changed. No case included.

Overall a stunning specimen within reach from a popular era of vintage Fender. Well loved and faithfully maintained.
