Hagstrom H8 Eight-String Bass Used

Rare Hagstrom H8 solid body 8-string bass in tobacco burst. These were produced between 1967 and 1969, and only 2199 were made. This one has been dated to 1969. All-original electronics and hardware. In very good condition for its age, the exception being a section of binding missing from the bass side of the neck, between the 9th-17th fret (pictured). General cosmetic wear otherwise, no significant dings or damage. See detailed pictures. Everything works perfectly. Fully refurbished and set up with electronics cleaning and new strings. Truss rod works well. Playing nicely, thin neck with low action. Includes non-original hardshell case. Serial number 748066.
