The Rubin bass was from a series of guitars made in the 1960s and 1970s in Czechoslovakia. The Rubin bass was the bass equivalent of the Jolana Tornado. They both used the same body, just with with different hardware and with different necks. The body is semi-hollow, the pickups are single coils, and it has a metal nut. This has had a professional refin on the neck to fix some damaged binding. It is in great condition considering the age of the instrument. Currently set up with flat wound strings.
